Room 4 we very lucky to be able to plant our vegetables into our brand new Wesley Garden.
Come check out our Blog and all our students learning from the day? We would love to hear from you.

  1. Kia ora Connect 4,
My name is Tania and I am a Manaiakalani Outreach Facilitator who lives in Whangarei - that's two hours North of where you are in Auckland. I am the organiser of Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu that your class is participating in this term. That means I get to check out the learning on your blog and leave you comments. I hope you will check out the blogposts on your Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu groups blogs and leave them quality blog comments too. It is great to see you planting your own garden. What kinds of veges did you plant? I am not very good at growing vegetables but luckily my brother is and he shares with me! Veges taste so much better when they are grown and eaten fresh. Keep up the great sharing.
    Tania

    1. Hey there! My name is Kira and I am from Wesley Intermediate located in Auckland (as you probably know!).

It's great to see that you do so much work for Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu! For the question, Genesis Energy came to film an ad at our school (that I was lucky enough to be in!) and they donated a bunch of plants to us that we planted in the garden! They included tomatoes, lettuce and kale! Personally, my favourite vegetable is the Potato!
That's why I am known as the Potato of the school :D

I hope you keep up the great work with Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu!
